The project for Cinco Apartment was guided by the unification of two independent apartments located in a residential building, with the goal of creating a single, larger, and more functional apartment that better accommodates the client’s family dynamics. The new layout consists of an integrated living room, dining room, and kitchen, three bedrooms (one of which is a suite), a small office, and four bathrooms.

The entrance, transformed into a long corridor lined with a unit clad in oak veneer with a stained finish, sets the tone for the elegance and material coherence that unified the space and enriched it with intricate details. The aim was to create a welcoming and cozy area with warm colors that contrast with the open space and the soft tones dominating the rest of the design.

Turning into the corridor, one is greeted by a spacious area that integrates the living and dining rooms with the kitchen. These spaces are characterized by the use of natural travertine stone and stained oak veneer, which harmonize beautifully with the chevron-patterned oak flooring. From the living room, there is access to an outdoor area, conceived as a fundamental part of the project. This private terrace extends the interior spaces, offering an open-air environment with privacy and natural elements such as a reflecting pool and a landscaped fence.

The master suite is distinguished by its generous walk-in closet, adorned with travertine accents and physically divided by a fluted glass partition. The use of travertine continues into the bathroom, blending seamlessly with the microcement cladding in a foam-colored finish.

The presence of natural stone, neutral colors, and curved lines are recurring elements throughout the project. These elements create a unified environment, enhancing the fluidity and dynamic experience of the living spaces.

O projeto para o Apartamento Cinco teve como linha orientadora a unificação de dois apartamentos independentes, localizados num edifício residencial, com o intuito de criar um único apartamento mais amplo e funcional que melhor respondesse à dinâmica familiar do cliente. O novo layout consiste numa sala de estar, sala de jantar e cozinha integradas, três quartos, sendo um deles suíte, um pequeno escritório e quatro casas de banho.

A entrada, transformada num longo corredor servido por um móvel revestido a folha de carvalho com velatura, prediz a elegância e coerência de materiais utilizados que tornaram o ambiente unificado e repleto de detalhes. Pretendia-se um espaço de acolhimento aconchegado, com cores quentes, que marcasse o contraste com o restante espaço aberto e cores suaves que predominam no projeto.

Ao virar o corredor, deparamo-nos com um amplo espaço que integra salas de estar e jantar e cozinha, caracterizados pelo uso de pedra natural travertino e folha de carvalho também com velatura, em profunda sintonia com o pavimento em soalho de carvalho chévron. Da sala de estar, acedemos a um espaço exterior, pensado também ele como parte fundamental do projeto, ao criar um terraço privativo que funciona como extensão dos espaços interiores, oferecendo um ambiente ao ar livre com privacidade e elementos naturais, como um espelho de água e uma vedação ajardinada.

O quarto suite é marcado pelo generoso closet, rico em apontamentos de travertino e com barreira física através de uma divisória de vidro canelado. O uso do travertino estende-se até à casa de banho que fica em perfeita união com o total revestimento de microcimento.

A presença de pedra natural e o recurso a cores neutras e linhas curvas são elementos que percorre todo o projeto, tornando um ambiente unificado, traduzindo uma maior fluidez e dinâmica na vivência dos espaços.
